Autogenous tissue transfer is a technique developed by Dr. Sachs which uses one’s own natural tissue (Autogenous) and transfers it to other places on the face that need filling in (to reduce wrinkles) or plumping up, to make lips look bigger, fuller and more sensual. This state of the art technique is completely safe and since one’s own tissue is being used exclusively, there is no chance of allergic reaction or sensitivity to the transferred tissue.

ATT finds particular usefulness in filling in and softening wrinkles and frown lines in the mid brow region, the smile lines and marionette lines which come down from each side of the mouth as one ages.

Patients who want fuller more sensual lips will also benefit from using ATT.

If one is having cosmetic eyelid or facelift surgery, then it is a simple manner to take the extra tissue and tunnel it into the offending wrinkles. The natural ATT tissue fills in and softens the wrinkle making one look years younger. One small stitch on each side of the wrinkle is removed in one week.

If no other operative procedure is being performed, tissue can be taken from the scalp area through a small incision that heals quickly and unnoticeably.

The results are almost immediate with a noticeable improvement within a week. Since ATT begins to live in the newly transferred area the results are mostly permanent.

Tissue used for the transfer can be taken during cosmetic eyelid or facelift surgery and used at the same time or saved for later use.
