This novel technique beautifies the nose in a completely natural way by sculpting and molding the nasal tissues, instead of breaking the nasal bones and cutting cartilage. The excess bone is shaved and the tip cartilage is thinned and reshaped to add definition. Finesse sculpting rhinoplasty is performed under twilight anesthesia in the office surgical suite and takes approximately 20 minutes to complete. After the procedure, a light tape dressing is applied externally (since the nasal bones are not broken there is no need for any packing to be placed inside the nose) thereby allowing the patient to breathe normally. The operation is totally painless and minimal (if any) discoloration occurs. The healing time is remarkably short and normal activities can be resumed in 1-2 weeks.
